The Royale is the first carpet I developed. It is tufted with a cabled yarn. Up to now carpets mainly were a picture, a pattern on the floor. I wanted to make a gesture in colour. This construction, in a loop of 25 mm of this yarn, is comfortable, gorgeous and very durable.

Development
A cabled yarn has the appearance of a cord. The yarn is built up from 6 single yarns, twined together by twos. Then these 3 threads are joined again.
